All of Soci's sinks are designed to be high quality, low maintenance. Simple care practices will keep you sink looking beautiful. Here are some recommendations for routine care and cleaning for our various products.
Copper Products:
Easy Care Instructions
Handcrafted Copper Sinks are easy to care for and should be cleaned with a soft cloth, mild detergent and water. Rinse and dry the surface after cleaning. Avoid acids such as vinegar, lemon juice or cleaners containing acids. Acidic substances will temporarily lighten the finish or give it a "pinkish" look. Do not clean with abrasives or abrasive cleaners such as dry cleansers. Our sinks have a heat treated stain to give the sink an Old World aged patina. This finish will darken and lighten in different areas as it is a natural living finish. This change can be slowed by periodic re-applications of a furniture wax, such as beeswax or Trewax.

Stone Top Surfaces:
Vanity tops may need to have a penetrating sealer applied. Check with your installer for recommendations. A good quality marble wax or non-yellowing automobile paste wax can be applied to minimize water spotting.
Stainless Steel Care
Regular cleaning is important to maintain the appearance of your Soci sink. Apply stainless steel cleaner/polish with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, working with, not across, the grain. Do not use any type of abrasive cleaning tools or agents as they may tarnish the finish. Cleaners containing chloride are not recommended. If used, rinse the surface immediately to prevent corrosion. After every use, rinse thoroughly and wipe the sink dry following the sink grain. This is the secret to prevent water spots and mineral deposits. By following these simple guidelines, your Soci sink’s beauty and durability will withstand the test of time.
SociStone
Maintain the surface and appearance of your SociStone sink by rinsing sink and drying the surface after every use.
EVERYDAY CLEANING: A damp cloth or sponge with a solution of dishwashing liquid will remove everyday stains from your sink.
MORE STUBBORN STAINS: Remove them by using a non-abrasive cleaner on a damp cloth or sponge. If stains become ingrained in the bowls, an overnight soak using diluted bleach (10:1) will help remove the stains. Rinse and dry thoroughly
CAUTION: Use of strong chemicals, abrasive powders and steel wool pads will degrade the surface and make it more susceptible to stains. The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper cleaning methods.
